Warning: This is a blatant outing of pride and commerce.
Red Hook Crit in Red Hook in March of this year, was an intense event. Red Hook Crits are always intense, some might say, and I think this is true, I can say so about the three that I witnessed. But this one had an extra dimension which created extra challenges for the riders, organisers, rider support and even the spectators: RAIN. It was simply raining the whole day. And not a slowly light drizzle. It was a constant heavy downpour that got stronger during the day. And it was cold.
Caroline Pauleau of DONTDO, sent me some pictures of racers using the Fendor-Bendor during the qualifiers and race. Great to see people "enjoying" it, and finding out that it's storm and race proof.

This rider is using the better-safe-than-sorry set up. Ass-Saver + Fendor-Bendor.
